I bought a 60 that was locked up but now it is running. The guy gave me the manual with it and it had a blue ribbon in it...supposedly this was the tag that came on the steering wheel...it is in perfect condition...is this worth anything??

Hi,
if i remeber properly what my friend told me, the blue ribbons did accompany the original manual (might have been on the tractor as you stated) and should be kept. Some guys might not think its worth much, but it is my opinion that an original manual with that tag is worth something because you dont see many of them around. My friend has one and he is somewhat proud of it. So my advice is to store both the manual, which i assume to be the original as well, along with the tag in a safe and dry place. Just like all this old stuff, the older it gets the more valuable it is.
