Am think of purchasing a Ezee On loader. Have looked at a couple, look pretty strong with the exception of the bucket that was on them. I like the ease of putting in on and taking it off. Anybody have one or know anything about them? Would take a good JD 148 if I could find one cheap enough. Don't have alot to spend right now.

My grandad has an Ezee-on Loader with grapples on his CIH 7120w/fwa. It's a very nice loader, he got a good deal on it used, it was on another cih tractor and was painted red. He likes the loader ALOT! He said the only reason he would switch loader brands is the grapple forks, it only has one hydraulic Piston, so they can't grab that great. But we use it for hauling bales, and loading silage from a pit, and it works really nice there. Last time we unhooked the loader, excluding hydraulic lines, we clocked my grandad(Whos 64) at 45 secs, and he was taking his time somewhat. All in all, i recommend the loader, if you are getting grapples, see if dual hydraulics pistons are an option with the grapple forks.
My two cents

I too have never heard of an Ezee on loader unless you menat you want a quil-tach loader. The Westendorfs are very popular on 3020's and 4020's in Iowa, A new WL42 sells for about $4800. They can be mounted ion under a minnute. The 148 is also a goo dloader, one of Deere's best, it's somewhat of a quil-tach, but there are a few bolts to take out before you can back away. We have a WL42, a JD 48 and a JD 148, The Westendorf get taken on and off the most cause of it's simplicity. The Deere loaders are a bit more solid because there bolted down but we rarly take our's off.
hope this helps.

I have never seen an Ezee On loader so I`m at a disadvantage there. What I can say is make sure the hydraulic specs of you tractor gpm. and psi. will operate that loader to your satisfaction. That means the lift/cycle time and lift weight capacity are reasonably balanced. A fast cycle time is worthless if it reduces liftweight capacity, and vice-versa. My only other comment on independent fitz-alls would be that all the subframe/universal mount brackets seem to me to be cumbersome and extra heavy to give more tractor make mounting options. This makes them heavy and too strong. My personal rule is if something has to break, let it not be the tractor. Sacrifice the bucket instead. Dont transfer the shock load to the tractor. I hope some will correct me but isnt the 148 of the quiktach variety or do I have it confused with a different loader model?
