I've got a stock JD block heater I need to install. It is the external one with the 2 hoses. Where do the hoses connect to the engine?

This cold weather is making installing it very important.

Thanks
Le

I don't know what your heater looks like, but if it's a tank heater, to go on the John Deere, we usually hooked the bottom hose in line with the cylinder-block drain, and the upper hose goes to the thermostat housing. Most of the Deere engines has a raised boss on the thermostat housing for purposes of drilling and tapping to pipe thread and then installing a water-hose fitting. Some already are drilled and tapped and have a pipe plug in place.
