I am in the process of putting the head back on after the 2nd valve job on our spray tractor i know most people dont spray with a 60-0 any more but we have since it was new. now the book says that the head bolts need torx to 150# hot so i know the motor needs to be hot but do i also need to take the rocker arms back off to do this and how much other stuff needs to come off to get the valve cover back on their seems to be little room i guess due to the orchard modelthis is not a restoration tractor just a hard working every day farm tractor

thanks rob

first, you should tourque the head bolts 130-140# cold and it should be just fine. 2nd, you need to take of the lifters(i think thats what tyou mean by rockerarms)and then you can put hte head in. John
