I have seen them here , in Australia , but they are as scarce as hens teeth !.
I want a DD powered tracked , and a wheel tractor for my farm . They won't get much work , but I will certainly appreciate having them.
How do I go about getting hold of them ?, are there firms that charge a spotter fee , to find them ?.
I really like those little tractors , and can't see why something like 14000 miles should stop me getting them !.
Any suggestions ?.
Rob J.

Both of the units that you are looking for have been advertised in the photo ads on this site in the past. I'm sure someone on this site would be able to check them out once you find ones that you would deem acceptable. Shipping will probably cost as much as the 2 tractors. Load them into a 30' sea container, truck it to LA. Once its in LA, a shipping company will take care of the paperwork and getting them through customs.

Well , thats what I'm hoping brokenwrench , and I'd be a very happy man , if I can get it to happen !.
I really like them . I was at an Ag show recently (driving a bullock team) and I saw a little loader off in the distance , in all the vintage equipment and stuff. Something about them !, so off I headed , and yep , there it was , a nice little 440 , and he has a 435 home in the shed (as well as a heap of other JD's).
If I can round them up , they will be doing a little work , just enough to ensure they are ticking over perfectly !.
I have also advertised locally , but I think all the ones in Australia are in collectors hands now !.
Thanks again !.
