AL58760 Dash WIRING HARNESS sealed beam

AL64782 WIRING HARNESS AL71084

AL70021 WIRING HARNESS (SUB FOR AL68622, AL70308)
One of those wiring harnesses should be identical or the approved replacement. May depend if it's syncro range or collar shift.
One of the long standing rural legends in there with "detergent oil blowing engines that have in the past only used non detergent oil". And that "engines require back pressure".
Is a story started by irate US dealers, tired of being undercut with cheap imported Canadian tractors/equipment. This occurred during the 1980's through to 2006 or so. Back then then the weak Canadian dollar which was worth only 63 to 90 cents US. There were many loads of purely male bovine fertilizer spread that Canadian/European JD's were grey market orphans without parts support in the US.
North American production of JD utility tractors was always split between Dubuque Iowa and Mannheim Germany. By midway through the 40 series and the entire 50 & 55 series. Utility tractors were built only in Mannheim.
Your 2250 is the real deal. I have to wonder what other items may have fallen prey to the same wire cutter. This would be a good time to analyze the engine oil, coolant and transmission/hydraulic oil.
If the coolant was never changed the sleeves maybe getting pitted. If some tinkerer added sae 90 gear lube or an economy hydraulic oil that is not wet clutch compatible. That tractor might become expensive.
