I recently bought the 4 radiator supports for my 420c. Well I went to install them today and am a little stumped by the way they mount to the brackets. They appear to come with 4 "rivets". Are they in fact rivets? How do I get those rivets toi roll over and stay tight in the bracket? Thanks bob

And if you take them off, do it one at a time so you don't forget which way the offset of the bracket and rubber goes.

Don't ask me how I know.

I guess you plan on drilling the old ones out. Be careful to not damage the size of the hole. I had the brackets off so I just ground one side of the rivet off and punched it out.

You don't have to get the to roll over, just tighten up in the hole and hold the bracket on. If you got the brackets off, put the rivet in the hole and lay the head on an anvil or something similar and lightly tap on the end that is sticking thru. It will fatten up easly and squash down a little for a permanent fit.

If you still have the brackets mounted you will have to put a big bumper like the head of a 10 lb sledge on the head and tap the side that protruded thru just like using an anvil.
