help! i recently replaced my gear box and apparently my baler is out of time. I am trying to bale and so far I have broken a needle and 3 sheer bolts. Any advice??

You need a manual. It walks you through the proceedure with pictures and gap measurments etc. Almost impossible to do it as well here and they're cheap compared to needles.

Trip needle mechanism to tie,turn flywheel CCW to put plungerhead on compression stroke. Get tip of needles even with turned up piece in bottom of balecase. Extension points on plunger head should be even with tips of needles. You need to measure feeder forks as they need timing. On compression stroke with face of plungerhead in middle of front feeder fork slot,the tips of forks should be 10 1/2 inches from LH side of baler. This is explained in the operators manual,you need to get one as there are other pertinent facts in it. Tx Jim
