I have a just bought an old tractor restored and I want to add a few attachments like a PTO cover and a PTO pump.Well the PTO cover and pump is in great shape that I bought but must be cleaned up.I was thinking about cleaning it with lacquer thinner than painted it.Do you guys have any recommendations. It does not have to be sand blasted. They are not that bad.Looking for ideas. THANKS..... ..... ..

Scuff up with scotch-brite pad if paint is
smooth. Laquer thinner is fine for cleaning.
You might ask about this on Paint & Bodywork
forum. CalJim
