can someone tell the shipping weight of a 2510D with the rom, and also the reliability of these tractors. i have been looking one equipped like this with the 2 remote valves and a jd loader. i have run across a few but looks like a good road trip ahead.

The 148 loader is a popular one that will fit it with the right brackets. You may want to check with your local JD dealer or others local to see what brackets are available for which loaders to fit it as it will be a bit narrower than like a 4020. That will save having to fabricate brackets. I forget which other numbers fit but you might find some listed in archives here.

I see now he said 148. If they are all the same width and length then why is someone here always having trouble finding brackets to fit? I noticed you stopped at 4020. So is there is a large frame bracket for the 4320 and up for the 148 or it won't fit those? The 48 loader manual shows will also fit 2510,3010,4010,4020 with rail brackets and 1020 & 2020 with frame brackets.

I've changed brackets between a 3010 to 4430 and 3020 to 4320 with no problems on 148 loaders. chris

Ok, It must be a later model JD loader I'm thinking about that someone here had problems fitting on a 2510 or 2520 ?
