What is the best way to remove the oil seal/spacer that is located behind the flywheel on my model 70? It looks like it has a thin lip around the outer edge that a puller might mess up. Thanks in advance guys.

I assume you have a "Gas" "70"...??

The Slinger has an "O-Ring" packing in it that seals it against the crankshaft.. With the outer cover removed, it should slip out without too much pressure. A New packing "O-Ring" can make it pretty hard to slip back on.. If you wipe the slinger off and use a rubber strap-wrench, I am sure you can twist and pull on it at the same time and get it to move..

Ron..
