Does anybody have the throttle linkage for a 45 unstyled AR from the carb to governor? I was trying to adjust mine yesterday and the end that screws on for adjusting broke on me, now it is too short. I am also looking for a belt pulley brake for an unstyled D cast# D 62 R. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Rob, there is lots and lots and lots of U/S AR's in wrecking yards. As a matter of fact I know of 3 or 4 wrecks within 10 miles of me. That part should not be too hard to locate at a nearby wrecker. Let me know if you get stuck for one and I will see if I can help out.

For that throttle linkage, measure it with the broken end laying like it should be installed, then cut off the linkage a little ways back and weld a 1/4" bolt the correct measurement back on. Make sure you taper the ends that are to be welded so that it can be ground down to look respectable again.

I thought about doing that, but I was hoping to find someone with an original to replace it, or better yet a NOS. Thanks for the suggestion!!
