I believe that combine found a spring. We had a farm a couple miles south west of Bevier Mo. called #7 the Black Diamond, back in the 60s and 70s. That's about 25 miles east of where those pictures were taken. I remember that gumbo clay would stick to everything that touched it. If the ground was wet especially in the winter, and you went to the field, you would get stuck!
