2 weeks ago, i bought a original power steering unit for my 60. while i am in the process of putting on the power steering, i was wondering what i could do i with the old "armstrong power" steering unit. is it worth any thing, or should i just put it in the corner of the shed and forget about it?

thanks in advance for all replies

Jared R

My neighbor did the same thing you are doing and he kept his just because it was a one piece pedestal off an early '52 model. Other than that I doubt its worth much. Seems like the tractor would be worth more w/the 1 piece pedestal than with a two piece w/power steering. My opinion, my 1-piece 60 i'll probably part w/mine soon.

I have an early 60 with the 1 piece front end that is in bad shape, had been rolled before I got it and its was broken at the top and bent the spindle, hard to steer but is manageable, if you are interested in sell it let me know, does it have the rollamatic and when are you located. I am in western Pa. next to W.Va. Thanks Don c
also no p/s

i am located in western Wisconsin. in about the area where Ia Mn and Wi come to gether. i do not have a roll-o-matic for it, but my father has one that will be comming off of a 2510. i think it would fit.
