I just brought home my "new" planter, it is a 6 row 7000. I have ordred a manual just trying to get it set up, Can someone tell me the sprocket setting to plant corn at 30,000. I can't wait 5 days for my manual may have to play with soon.
Thanks

Depends if you have the first edition or the later one. Early one had only half as many teeth per sprocket as the later one. I have books for both- can answer your question tomorrow after another trip to the shop.

Assuming you are planting in 30 inch rows: For a population of 30,200 you should use the 30 tooth driver and the 26 tooth driven sprocket. With an early planter you would use the 15 and 13 tooth sprockets.
