I Just got a farmall,, It looks like the farmall cubs i see here [ i am completely new to tractors,, I bought it because I now have 3 acers to cut,, It runs good But when I drained the oil it looked like jet black soup... I decided I needed a manual to go further than a oil change...

Manuals generally come in three versions. The Operator/Owner manual tells you how to operate the tractor, lube it and simple maintence, along with identifying controls and simple adjustments on them. The Service/Shop manual tells you how to repair it. The Parts Manual ID's the parts and gives you numbers to order new ones.

Look at the Research and Info heading to the left of this page, then go down to Serial Numbers, and look it up.

Post a picture here that goes a long ways. Also if its an old red cub the serial number should be by the steering shaft up front on the engine right hand side if your sitting on it.

That serial number puts it as a 1960 cub

That I can't tell you with out either a picture or some more info about it. Does it have a 3 point? What type/size engine does it have, 4 cylinder etc. What color is it? Also a picture goes a long ways telling what it is
