It was suggested to me on another discussion board that I post this message here. I was told that "Steve at New Holland" would be able to help me. I just bought a model 850 New Holland round at auction last saturday. I plan on using it to make corn stalk bedding.Local dealers (4) were unable to supply me with the electric twine option, without going through parts, piece by piece.$$$$$$$$ I need the wireing harness, control box and 12 volt motor.I am not afraid of a little dirt or dust but have "reactive airway desease" (farmer's lung)" I need to use a tractor with a cab. This baler was in a nice shed on concrete for 14 years and is in like new condition. There were people from at least 4 states to see a 1066 IH sell. It had 2300 hours on it and looked like new. It sold for $19500 or $19700.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ed

Ed, would you happen to be from SE Minnesota? A 1066 with very low hours just sold around here and I was curious what it brought.

I am from SE. Mn. The 1066 at auction here sold for $10500 or $10700. It had less than 2400 hours and looked like new.

Hi Ed,

Nope, I think you are just plain out of luck. I think you should sell me that 850 and then you go run buy another with electric tie. :>)

Sorry, couldn't resist! Congrats on the baler purchase; you're not gonna regret that one!

Allan
