i have a trailer mower, gearbox driven. It's in fairly good condition, the gearbox is good and that. I want to put it up for sale, but when is a good time of year that i'll get top dollar for it?

A rotary mower, I'm assuming. I haven't noticed any price jumps on these during the year in my area, unlike planters, balers or combines.

I have yet to get that elusive "top dollar" . . . .

On any of the used cutters the price will just about double about the 1st of March around here. The winter is dead cheap on that stuff.

I'll agree with Tim on the elusive "top dollar" cause if I'm selling it was always either last week or will be in 2 weeks for top dollar.

If I've broken something and need a new one the price has always just went up effective yesterday.
