My neighbor pulled a wood bros. one row with a H. He had a M later on but to this day the h is his favorite even tho he sold it decades ago.I know he wishes he still had it. I pulled a one row #7 new idea and two loaded wagons and i mean LOADED wagons with my straight Wd allis.

You can easily handle it with an H. Just get ready for the boredom though. You go around and around and you think you will never get done. Still I guess it is better than husking by hand.

You could run a 2 row with that H alright. They are like a sicle bar mower. Don't use much power. The bulk of your power need will be to pull the loaded wagon.

Not a problem, I picked corn w/1-row Woods in 100 bpa corn this fall with my VAC Case, it has about 2/3 the horses & half the weight of an H. When I was a kid, Dad, Uncle & Grandpa picked 1000's of acres of corn with an IH 2-P (two row pull type picker) powered by an H, that was purchased on the "black market" right after Uncle came home from WWII. Then they used an IH 24 (2 row mounted on an H) to pick 1000's more after the 2P wore out. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Neighbor used to pull a Woods one-row picker with a Ford 8N. The H should be fine with almost any one-row pull-type picker. The early two-row mounted pickers were used on tractors that size

Should have no problem with an H. Dad even hooked his 1 row picker to the F12. Otherwise we used a TE20 Ferguson. Traction was a problem sometimes.

be careful
