I'll try this forum as I'm getting no response on the IH site. I'm looking for a picture, or drawing, on how the Farmall Super M 'live' hydraulic reservoir mounts on the cover of the rear frame under the fuel tank. I have the reservoir support plate and the two spacers for the plate. I've figured out where the rear two holes of the support plate go. What is not clear to me is how the two spacers and their bolts mount to the frame cover. This is a mid-1953 Louisville tractor (s.n. SM-5056xx L) that appears to have been originally built with the battery-box under the seat and a counter-shaft hydraulic unit. The rear frame cover casting date is for 1953. Thanks in advance. Mark

I read this on the Farmall board, but I think your message got lost. I don't have the answer, and I have no reference material for the Super M. I did own a Super M years ago with the reservoir under the tank, but I never had any reason to remove it, so I don't know it was held on. You might try the Farmall board again.

Another thought. I've been told that on-line parts break downs are available for viewing on the Case-IH corporate website. I had no luck when I looked, but maybe I didn't look in the right place?
