I have some bearings and gears to fix/or replace on my Model F81-C feed grinder. Does the unloading auger and housing that leads to the unloading swinging auger come off any way???? I cannot pull off the bevel gear from the auger, it will hit on the bottom of the holding bin. Any suggestions????

Yes it comes off by removing 4 bolts and them sliding the assembly up. You may have to pry it up with a 2x4 after spraying WD40 on the slides. Mark shaft where old bearing was and the keeper coler. It is an easy job after freeing parts and redressing the shaft before installing new bearings or gears.

I just took the augers off of my Farmhand 810, with the help of the operator's manual/parts book. If you don't have this, it would be good to get. The book doesn't tell how to do it, but the parts breakdowns are helpful to see how it all fits together.

I'm away from the machine right now, but the small auger that comes from the bottom of the tank and fills the swinging auger is held by several bolts, and then slides upwards on a track. Even with the bolts out, mine was pretty tight, so I had to wiggle it and move/pry it up with a piece of wood. Hope this helps.

Can't help too much, just keep in mind that each individual part of that machine was made seperately, and then the entire machine was assembled. If it was bolted on, there has to be a way to un-bolt it, but, any machine that is used for handling or processing grain has a tendency to rust and corrode internally, which makes the disassembly process very frustrating at times. A good torch outfit can be your best friend when working on some of these machines.
