24 T baler ?

I have a JD 24T baler that will bale about 15-20 bales fine and then it will bust one and then be ok for a few more can anyone help.

Sound like twine or the knotter. We are using one right now and at 1400 plus bales and has broken 5 bales , one by the twine too thin and the others by going from one bale of twine to the other. If you are still having trouble don't give up and change only one thing at a time, ajustments are funny on knotters but they can be fited. That's typical of the early John Deere balers. I had a 14T and it never tied bales very well. I finally decided it was just the way it worked. Even the JD mechanic couldn't get it fixed.

usually the twine breaks. i have a book for it just old and hard to read. I am going to lossen the bales a little and see if that helps becasue the bales are a little tight.
