We're paint up out hay rakes this week. I need the paint codes of the three different colors of an New Idea hay rake. Theres a pale yellow/cream, a dark green, and a reddish orange. Would anyone know where I can get the original colors? I'd like to have a couple of new oval decals for it too in the original style. I think all new idea colors now are shades of grey. Any help appreciated!

Rocky

If you can get some decal paper and a good printer, this might help you out

I don't have the numbers for the colors but here are the basics.

NI bittersweet (orange)
NI green
NI buff (cream)

Should be available from your area AGCO dealer if you have one.

Some guys say Oliver green and Allis Chalmers persian are close.

Is "persian" Allis Orange? If so, it's a bit too orange. I chose Kubota orange and would've went even a little lighter if I could've. I went and picked up paint this evening at TSC in the three shades I found closest. Then went to Wal Mart and bought a quart of almond which I think is going to be closer to the original light beige color than the IH white I bought. It's hard to tell what the light color even was as it's weathered so much but I'm going to make a final decision on that tomorrow. The Oliver green is dead on so that will work good. Thanks for the help!
