Where can I get new slats for my Oliver manure spreader? I am missing one and one is a beat up metal fence post.

Measure the length of a good slat and purchase angle iton that length. 1 X 1 or 1 1/2 X 1 1/2"
Punch the rivet out of the apron chain link or grind it off and hit it with a hammer. Drill the angle iron to fit the apron chain link hole and use 1/4 x 3/4 bolts with lock washers. Insert the bolts from the bottom (no washer is required).

You can purchase the chain links for the apron slats at TCS or at any tractor dealer. The links are #67R and #67L.

I would have a couple of extra slats cut and then if you have another incident where a slat gets bent, there's no crisis or apprecable down time.

I know of a place that will make these but shipping is expensive. You have to take off a good one and they copy it.
