I was driving my new toy home today and my insurance agent, a farmer too, passed me on the road. When I got home, there was a message from him asking me what this one was worth, funny guy, eh? So, what are these worth? I know people said they did not make many of them, and as I have found parts are hard to find as well.

That's a nice looking machine there John, hope to see it at the show this year. Mine is a SP168, 12 foot cut.

To tell the truth, none of my equipment is insured. All of our over the road vehicles are covered, and we actually have too many of them. I have a tough time justifying paying the premiums. If i insured all of it, it would put the value out of sight over the years. If i insured part of it, only the uninsured stuff would suffer calamity. I do think anyone that can afford it should. But the wife is my bill payer, and more premiums to her would mean we need FEWER TOYS, if you get my drift. :^D

We just have a blanket policy, but in the event something is damaged by a car, tornado, ect, they will replace it.
