To bad it is so far away. I"am in Waukegan Ill. would like to find a small Oliver closer to home, soon we will be back to the grind and time for long trips will not be. As for Know chipping away in the shop. Mike

Thanks for the nice pictures Zac.Its a shame that the junkman got it.It appeared to be in decent shape.

I have never been offered a decent 35 or 40 Oliver SP for under $500.Theres quite a few of them in western Kansas.

Also out of curiosity did the junkman have a ponytail? IF you at an auction and you want something old get to know him he is usually pretty good about letting it go for a fair price if it isn't another junker bidding.

I bid up a Moline beet drill on ebay but never met the reserve and he never e-mailed me so guess I don't need it that bad. That guy with the beard is really strange, he bid up my MMTC thresher to 325, I have no idea how we would be making money on that.

Thats more than I would have pushed it. Fortunately my dad is getting a new job hauling CO2 to Rawlins so we will have some more money to spend on stuff like this.
