There were 2 of approximately that model parked next to a road not far from me up until about 3 years back. They hadn't been run in a lot of years but were mostly intact and had been farmed around. They had V-8 power. The engines were different from each other but I think they were both GM-built. Neither machine appeared to be worn out but had been neglected a while.

My neighbor's dad used to be an implement dealer and sold them new. Apparently they had a rather poor reputation even when new. (interpreting his feedback kindly)

They're gone now, and developers are moving in that direction. I never did figure out who the property owner was.

Interesting. I've only seen two. One if still around, was last seen in 1989, just outside of Newton, KS along with an SP-168! Both machines were just outside and were for sale, but the owner refused to put back inside---where they belonged. The other, hopefully preserved, was last seen at the late Albert Eshelman's museum in Elliott, IA.

Years ago I saw what was left of one in a hedge row about 3 miles from me. About half of it was missing. The grain tank, motor compartment and front axle were still there. The header had been cut up but not hauled off yet. I am sure it has been torched and hauled off by now. It wasn't much when I saw it 15 years ago.
