What diesel is in a IH 453?

I know of one that is to be parted, but would like to know what it is first and how well it do for a engine swap into a R-160 truck

FWIW: If that"s a 453 Combine, Wix catalog sez came with either D301 or D360 (if the "D" means Diesel).I don"t know if other diesels were available as options, and have no engine specs.
If the R-160(or RC-160 or RM-160) is 1953-55, Motor sez it came with the SD-240 OHV 6cyl 39/16x4.018 (!) which had 6.5 comp, 108HP@3600 for 50-54, and 7.0 comp, 131HP@3800 for 1955 (wound up pretty tight for those days).
There could be considerable differences in breathing, power curve, etc, between a combine engine and a truck engine; hopefully some with experience will advise. Good luck.
