The White you had would have been a 7300 which was basically the same as a 535, which is the next size bigger than the 525 (28inch cylinder verses 34 on the 535/7300).

I let it go as it was rough and had no header. The flathead Chrysler 6 ran great but I just didnt need it.It had a dandy 23.1x26 rice tire on the left side.

The new owner was going to take it to a consignment sale but I bet it gets scrapped.Hopefully the engine will be saved.

This is probably a stupid question, but is that Oliver close to being the same as some make of Cockshutt ?

by that time White owned Oliver. MM and Cockshutt. Think the combines were based on Cockshutt design, Cockshutt tractors starting with 1600-1900 and newer were Olivers with a few MM's thrown in. Also 60,70 and 80 Cockshutts were Olivers in the 40's.

Heres the 2890 MM in reply to 1206SWMO, 07-14-2007 14:03:05

The 2890 MM was very rough and had no header. It sold for $75.The 250 Chrysler flathead 6 engine had an OH and ran like a Swiss watch. The last time I saw this combine it looked much nicer.

It was sold new in 1967 by Bell Tractor at Milo,MO which is close to me.I worked there part time. The original owner was there and I visited with him for awhile. He also bought my 1978 715 IH new and put the Mud Hog under it.

This 7720 looks to be not too bad, not even a bid at $2500? In the picture it looks good.

This field of corn along the Little Osage River near Metz,MO was under water two weeks ago.It has already been bush hogged down.100's of thousands of acres of crops were recently destroyed by the flooding in western MO and eastern Kansas.
