I had a man from Kansas call me last night and ask if I bought old combines.I said that I did and he said I have a restored 35 MH SP for sale for twelve five.I was caught off guard and said didnt you mean $1250? He said no that he wants $12,500 for it!!
He said that it cost alot to restore it.It must look better than that Super 35 that I posted pictures of on here.

I politely told him that he would never get even close to that for it.He said he was going to haul it to a sale in Minnesota as people from Canada would pay that for it.So are you guys up north ready to buy this one?

I had a nice visit with him and wished him well.

Sorry about your mother. Going while is asleep is the best way. My grandma died 12 years ago in her sleep too. Gods blessing IMO. Anyway I wondering if you are keeping track of all the serial numbers for MF 35 combines. Have you found one with a serial # lower then XXXXX 112? Have you run across any that just had a chain/sprocket cylinder drive?

5020 guy,my 35's both have variable speed cylinders but you still have to change sprockets on the cyl drive to slow them down for corn and beans.

Theres so many 35's around that I've never written down the serial numbers.Guess I need to start.

Thanks for the comments on my Mom.Shes in a better place now.Her earthly body was worn out.

Hey 1206, My wife and i went to TN. to check on our house to see if it was still there. Same place
same tennessee. Sorry to hear about your mother.
From what I have gathered from her son I'll bet she was a go getter!!!!! !! I'm sad for your loss. I'm wondering if that was canadian or american dollars!!!!! !! 12,500, you think he might have been yanking your chain? Maybe a screw loose. Did you get his number so we can see what he gets for it? I tell you i leave for a week and it takes 2 days to catch up to this site. Got to go melt some more ice. We've got about half an inch on everything and getting darn cold.

Take care

Farmer
