Hi all. Sorry, I don't have any contact for Clint. Here is the guy, friend of Clint's, who owns the AC he painted. Tom Marble, 24601 Milfay Road, #4, Depew, OK. 74028. Thanks for the story about working with the combine, I didn't know how they worked. That ISU connection explaines why they were always built near Ames. I didn't know that. Years ago my brother used to work there for a short time. ISU has some of them. I just thought, maybe that is where you went to school. I live about 22 miles SW of there. Blaine, I also have been friends with Ray Hoffman for years. I don't see Ray to often, when we run into each other at a show. First time I met him was at the Wuakee sumer show. He had a tent set up and was selling magazines. We did a lot of talking, some about old Dodge trucks and Case tracrors. Ray is also the editor of the Case Heritage Eagle magazine and a Case collector. The last time I saw Ray was 2005 down at the Lathrop MO. show. Thanks. Charley.

I spent a fall during college riding on the back of one of those bagging beans as part of a soybean undergraduate research program. Would drive thru a 10 foot plot and than at the end of the plot, the operator would stop for a few seconds and let the machine clear out while the guy on the back (me) would put a bag up, fill the bag, tag it and than put it down around your feet. By the time you had this done, you were thru the next plot and had to put the next bag on. 8 to 10 hours doing that made for some long days. Those combines were developed by a professor at Iowa State specifically for that purpose.

Hi. Almaco is in Nevada Ia., about 35 miles east of me. It is just east of Ames Ia. It is a small company that has been in busness for years. They build small seed combines for seed companies. Blaine, just want to tell that the other night I looked at my Nov./Dec. Antique Power mag. Story about a guy in Oka. restoring a AC D21. Two pictures of Clint Kenyon painting it. Clint moved to Oka. City or near there. I have a friend, an old MM man, who is a veary good friend of Clint's. You still have that G1000 Vista you drove home? I love that tractor. I have a U302 Super. Thanks. Charley.

Hi Charley, yes I still have that G-1000 Vista MM Wheatland Diesel that I drove 300 miles home from Minneaoplis,KS several years ago. There are several U-302's in this area.

I read that story about the D-21 in Oklahoma. In fact I was at the Pawnee,OK show in May 2005 when Antique Power was doing the photo shoot for that story.I watched them take the pictures.I myself have a 1965 Series II D-21 AC.

I know Clint Kenyon and he was to my place about 20 years ago.It was only recently that I found out he was in Oklahoma. His son still lives in Missouri.

Thanks for the info on Almaco.
