OK,I just got the word that those (4) SP-12 Case and the one Case pull type combines that I looked at Friday all on one farm in NW Oklahoma are free for being hauled off.The lady that owns them just wants them gone but we must take all of them.

How are we going to pull this one off?Its just too far for me to get them all.I do want the one with duals that I thought was a 120.I wont have anyways to haul it until April at the earliest

What will we do with the parts one?Strip it and haul it to the junkyard or does someone want it?Does anyone want the pull type?Do we have a lottery if too many want them?

We sure owe the guy that told me about them a steak dinner.

Don't we have some members in that area. IF THEY WERE ONLY CLOSER. Maybe my grandma wouldnt mind if they sat at her place. She lives in that area

1206 I've been thinking for the price of the fuel
to haul these things, I think we need to form a organization to buy a piece of property out there in a strategic location. Haul and drop. Work on them when there is time. Just thinking out loud,
or is that typing out load. Sometimes my mind wanders!!!! Like I know how to type because I was forced to take it in high school. Just wondering how many hunt and peck on these computers.!!!!! !!! 5 freee combines MMMMM M don't know. Come on all you lurkers give us some ideas no matter how wild.

I am kind of "over center" from where 1206 is rounding up this stuff. Would not be too effiencent hauling this stuff west and then having to go back east and double miles.
Lots off room out here, but it sells by the section not acre!
I know of some room up north of me that might be what you are looking for , but logisticly wrong direction!

Well it looks like theres no interest in them so they will probably all end up getting junked. What a shame!!

Its funny that some people think that their old combines are worth lots of money when these cant even be given away..I had a man call recently and offer me a one owner always shedded field ready 428 Cockshutt SP for only $5,000!!

Noticed what I believe to be a model K pull combine in your discussion. I don`t imagine any parts are for sale. Want to restore my dads and am needing a few things. I live in west central Mimm.

1206, Been gone over the weekend to Wichita to my sisters for family get together. Had a good time. So what is the deal on these combines? Where in NW OK are they? I might be interested in the pull type. What size is it? How do you move these SPs? Do you need to remove the headers? I have more questions that answers.

ITG, Email me for more info on the location..I left it open so go thru ytmag to reach me.

The SP-12's are all 15 ft heads and the pull type must be at least 12-14 ft.The headers should be removed but I'm gutsy enough to try sneaking one home the back roads thru Kansas. Its the 50 miles in OK that worries me.Anything over 14' requires an escort.A Kansas 1 year wide load permit is $125 which I may buy as much as I'll be going out there.

The combines are free but we must remove all of them or none of them.If at least 3 of us would meet there on the same day maybe we could scrap the poorest SP-12 and the parts SP-12 and haul the rest to the junker or get one to come there to get them.
