A man in central Virginia has the following for sale.He posts on Darin Strattons AC forum. They will eventually be junked or parted out the way he talks. They are located in central Virginia.

100 AC SP with 9' head-not running $300

Super 100 AC SP with 9' head-not running-has PS $500

I think these are complete-restorable combines and believe me they are priced right. If it wasnt so far I'd be going after the Super 100 myself. The 9' ones arent as hard to haul as the 12' ones.

Just to show you how cheap they are I was at a sale in Kansas last April and a stuck AC SP 100 engine in the cradle with the drive unit on the back (same engine as WD-45) sold for $460!!

Hey 1206 I'm on it. On my way back from California
with the sp-12 I'll zip on over to virgina and snag it. LOL!!!!! Good thing I'm centrally located LOL!! Seriously just taking a break. I'm working on my FB Jd Van Brunt grain drill. Got the boxes off
and on saw horses. Just needs a good cleaning,
a little sandblasting and should be like new.
Might even paint it if it's lucky. Taking pictures along the way if anyones interested.

How rare is a 40 Oliver SP with a diesel engine?

Happy New Year!

I am willing to bet the Oliver Model 40 [Grain Master] you speak of, is extremely rare.
