Here is a rusty but fairly complete Massey-Harris Clipper SP combine that I hauled home from Kansas on Friday. It was probably going to be cut up early next year so decided to save it.

Its sat out for a long time so is pretty rusty. The worst places are the bottom of the grain bin, unloading auger, and bottom of the header.I'd rather had a nicer one but this one will do for now.

The best buys on the trailer were (3) nearly new 8.25x20 mud grip truck tires on the rim for $30 each and (3) MM 100 lb suitcase front weights at $25 each.

Guys,it will probably be quite awhile before I tackle the Clipper SP.Hopefully I'll run across a better one someday.Out of the (7) old SP combines I have the Clipper is in far poorer condition than any of the others.I much prefer shedded combines but had to save this one.

My goal for now is to buy up about (15) 1940's,50'sand 60's model SP combines.I'm adding an 18' by 88' addition to my shed right now for more combine storage. That will give me 68' by 88' which soon wont be enough.

When I retire from my town job and farming in 5-6 years it will be combine restoration time.
