I have a 100 and a Super 100 that I'll probably part out if you need parts they are now complete.

They're for sale. I have too much to do already and no use for a combine.

Geesh, why on Earth would you want to just part-out [literally wreck!] two COMPLETE, VERY RARE old combines?! There are many right here on this forum, who would LOVE to have them and give them a very good, loving home!

Back in the 1950's my Dad had a Case A-6 combine with the famous Wisconsin V-4 engine which wouldnt start hot.Once you started it you hoped you could keep it running all day.

It will be a pretty wide combine and will be hard to haul.Parts will be hard to come by.

Could they both be restored?Hate to see them parted out unless they are too far gone to save.100 AC's are real hard to find.

Cant think of anything I need right now.Thanks.

I never knew that AC ever made a sp combine outside of the Gleaners. I learned some thing today.

Pete, they built about 5500 AC 100's and Super 100's from 1952-58.Probably only about 100 have survived. They are sure hard to find.

Yaz Allcrop has a list of several AC 100's that are still left yet.Check pages 6-7.Within 200 miles of me counting mine I know of 3 complete 100's and 3 parts 100's.I'm sure theres one ore two more that I dont know about. Two years ago a nice one went to Tenn from 30 miles away.

I was in an area of good AC dealers and they sold some 100's but most got junked in the 1970's.They had a poor reputation. It would surprise me if much over 100-150 AC 100's survived. You rarely ever see one listed for sale.

Hey fellas, I have a 1952? Cockshutt sp-132 that I sold to a guy in the US and wants to haul it back from Saskatchewan, Canada. Wants the header removed but have no idea how to do this. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey I think that Cockshutt is a Massey Harris, If so you have to take the head off all the way up where the throat goes into the cylinder.
That SP allis is a self propelled 72 model. My father still has a 72 in the shed. I used to bale hay for a guy at Albany Mo who used a sp to cut his beans. I bet it's still up in that northwest Mo area?

I always thought the AC 100 SP was built off the 90 pull type?

You are correct that on the Cockshutt as the header comes off at the throat right before the threshing cylinder..A coupler of pins plus several chains and belts have to come off and also the lift arms underneath.I did this last summer on a Super 27 Massey.

So, just what was the final outcome on the case of the Axial-Flow you feared may have lost its life?

Thanks for your help. This is not a high houred combine and I greased that bearing regularly. Do you have access to parts? It sure is a cramped area to work in to remove these parts.
