This eve I talked to a guy in the Chanute,Kansas area that has his Dads old 1958 60 MH SP combine for sale. His Dad bought it new in 1958 and it was always shedded until they pulled it out of the shed in Jan 2006.He says the paint is decent and it will run with a little work.

I believe that they want $600 for it and a parts 60 combine.Email me for information as I'm not in the position to do anything with it.It deserves a better fate than just sitting out and rotting away. We've had a dry winter so it hasnt seen much rain on it yet.

1206, If I were a little closer I would I would be interested. I just live too far away...Camden, Ohio. Thats southwestern Ohio.

Hope somebody gets them. But not for junk though! Good Luck,Max

1206, yes this is such a shame that our old combines just get kicked out of their sheds and barns BEFORE any buyers are ready to take them. My biggest problem is NOT having any real storage for old combines and the one I've got is for sale. I only have it because it was destined for the scrap yard had I not rescued it.

Nuts,I havent gotten a single email on the combines that I've mentioned on here.

Its a shame but guess they will all rot down.$2.40 a gallon gas isnt helping any!Hauling gets real expensive.
