Heres a forlorn 80 MH SP combine sitting in a junkyard looking for a new owner.I believe its complete.

Here in the UK the 26 and 80 combines were built at Kilmarnock Scotland and known as the 726 and 780 as all UK built MH equipment had the 7 prefix. MJ

Thats interesting. I still have the toy MH 780 Special combine from many years ago. I always thought it closely resembled the real life MH 60 combine that my Dad had. Of course it was a Lesney Matchbox toy built in the U.K. hence the different model number.

It looks like that one has the 10' header on it... just like the one we used to have. It's interesting to see it with the original reel still in place. We had a windrow pickup on ours.

Man, I thought I was king when dad got that thing. I was probably 15 when I started running it. The 10' head was nice for pulling beside trucks... plenty of clearance. It was a real improvement over the ol' 26 it replaced.
