I have an old LI, circa 1961. It takes the large slant mounted spark plug. What is the correct Champion plug? My local Gravely contact tells me it's a W-14, but the W-14 doesn't look like what's in there now.

I took one down to my local auto part house.(I live in a small town mind you) and the old man behind the counter told me it looked like a plug for a flat head ford. I told him it was for an old Gravely. He didn't know what that was but did order me in several spark plugs and they worked great. It sounds as if your local dealer is new to the game. For parts you might try Richard's Lawn and Garden at http://www.gravelyparts.com

In the gravely users manual it lists either the Autolite TT-10 or Champion W 89 D, they probably don't make these anymore but a local napa should be able to help with a replacement.
