Does anyone know what make of engine was used on a Worthington Reel mower? Date unknown, but probably prior to 1950.
Thanks.
Alan

I wonder if Jacobson might have used the Worthington name on any of its early "home" reel mowers? This isn't a golf course mower.

Some of the very old,1920s,30s Worthingtons used a unique purpose built, fan cooled Harley Davidson supplied engine. Not kin to ANY of H-Ds motorcycle engines, but built by them. By the 40s Worthington was more into tractor pulled gang mowers, building the tractors from Ford N power units,Ford Model A Parts and some Dodge parts.I believe in the 50s,Jacobsen bought out Worthington.
