I saw one recently for sale at a tractor pull. It was restored and looked very nice. The asking price was $1200.

Here in central IL, I buy them for 50-100 dollars. They normally are not worth what you put in one to fix it up and restore it. Restoring a garden tractor to resell is not a money making thing, unless you find a rare one.

Where are you located and are you going to sell this one? I have a 1975 i think B-100 8 speed high and low, 42IN deck and 10HP kohler.

To me a 1976 Wheel Horse is still a working tractor and the mid 70's models were good work tractors for any type of chore. Originality, condidtion and where your trying to sell it will be the factors on value.

What horsepower is it? Do you have a deck for it?
I personally have 2 of these 8 speeds that are restored. One 1975 C160, and one 1974 C160. Both have 42 inch decks and I would think they are worth about 700.00 each. Actually this is less than I have in them. But, then again, I am not looking to sell either of them.
