I just purchased a 2002 Craftsman garden tractor Model 3000. Of course I haven't read the manual yet but I can't get the lever for Hi and Low range to move. Its stuck in Hi range now. Is there a trick to change the setting or does mine have a problem? Thanks

randy i would look underneath where that hi and lo range shifting rod hooks on to the trans and see if something is bent or come loose.where it attaches to the trans that shifter rod hooks to a pin that moves in and out on the trans.
