My 214 will only run with the choke pulled out. As soon as you push it in, no mater how hot the engine is, it dies. Any ideas?

Thanks, Karl

the condition you describe is running lean, and it is usually dirt in a jet in the carb or the gasket between carb and block.or as lucas said a fuel pump.also the throttle shaft on those kohlers can get really loose also, causing this condition,if thats the case they make a repair kit to tighten up the shaft.
