Sounds like and looks like a brother to the AC720 alot of them still running around mowing football fields and commercial work, most of them running around with 60" decks. If I didn't already have a big mowing tractor I'd have one in a heartbeat. I've got a close friend who collects them. I think he has all the implements too. Gotta keep the grass blown out of the cooling fins and they'll run forever.

 It's a PowrMax in reply to dean , 08-03-2004 21:02:19

These are VERY desirable old machines. Some had optional Category 0 3-point hitch and 2000 RPM rear PTO. It was one of the very first in what is now called "Compact Tractor" size....

It's one of the best mowing tractors of that size ever made, IMO. Here's more info on the newest version of that tractor, a Model 9020. You may want to spend some time on this site, researching it...

If the engine is in good shape, and everything else is in good shape, it could be worth up to 2500-3000.00. Is it good for mowing??? YES, Simplicity makes one of the better graden tractor that can be bought. Onan engines are now owned by Linimar, they have made engines and generators for years. If it has had decent care, they are good engines. For more info, there is a Simplicity web sight, not sure what is is, something like www.simpletractors.com or something like that.
