My friend has a Gravely L I serial #17303 walk behind mower. It has been sitting for 2 years and wouldn't turn over when it stopped 2 years ago. It this beast worth fixing? Are parts available?

Is an "Old Gravely" worth fixin' up? Does Superman
fly? That comes from a guy with four Gravely Walk-behind tractors and attachments aplenty. Does the engine turn over or is it stuck? I'm assuming the trans is in good condition(it's pretty hard to tear up as I've seen one with a Twin cylinder 25 hp Kawasaki engine for blowing snow and boy did it blow the snow). Email me if you have specific questions on how to fire it up if the engine spins over.

The Gravely products are very solid in design and you won't find anything much better as far as durability goes. They are a bit heavy and take a lot of finess to manuver around but they are worth fixing up. Parts are still around. Where is it ? I may be interested. I have 2 of them now.
