I really appreciate all the help in picking a new mower. I looked at Cub Cadet, John Deere,Yazoo,Ferris'Walker,Great Dame(same as John Deere),Toro, Simplicity,Husky, and Kubota. I bought the Kubota. All have some good points, and all have some weaknesses. The main reason for the Kubota was the shaft drives, and the dealer. He didn't allways say what I wanted to here, but what I did hear was always the truth. Thanks, Nat

Did you get the one that the front axle is used to jack up the front end and clean it out and sharpen the blades ? I saw these at the local dealer and it looked like a good idea.

Mike, that's the one. I mowed my yard today with it, normally takes 90 -105 min. With this new Kubota it took 40. It's a 48" cut and my 316 John Deere was 46". Makes mowing fun again

Its good to have an honest dealer AND a dealer nearby that you can easily get parts from in a timely manner.
