Most used mower deck will be in as bad a shape as the one you have. I think Simplicity made the Allis riders. Try an Allis or Simplicity dealer to see if you can order a replacment.

Great tractor: I have two. ARGO or Simplicity dealers can still get the decks (up to 42 inch, shells only:i. e., no spindles, bearings, or blades) for around $300. I picked up a real good 48 inch last year off here for $125 plus shipping: about 60 bucks from Penn. There is a guy in Delta Ohio who has a large number of older allis and simplicity parts. Look in the for sale ads on here. Think he recently posted something like 30 decks of all conditions for sale.

These tractors are great all around if you are into gardening. I run a 40in tiller, 50 inch blade, and a small, two bottom plow with mine. Added 50 pounds of weight and chains to each wheel for plowing snow and works great.

Good hunting.
