I just bought a Bolens walk behind at a tractor show this weekend, need info.I don't know much about it,except it is a walk behind and the name on the gas tank said"Bolens Husky".It has a wisconsin motor on it and has a mag.It also has clutches for each drive wheel and is chain driven. Now can anyone tell me the model number, where to find the serial number,or anything else about it ?

The early 1940's had the serial# plate on the handle bar, the later ones had a plate riveted between the engine and handles on the flat surface, from 1947 on the serial# started with a letter (G if gardener model), Bolens did not publish serial# charts so if it has the original engine that serial# can be dated.
