I have seen enough posts at different sites to warrant this post. I too own a couple Devere mowers and have been able to locate only scanty bits & pieces of info here and there, what seems to be the "norm" concerning Devere mowers and/or Co. Locke mower bought out Devere in the early 1960's and even the Locke website lists nothing about Devere. It makes one feel a little bit helpless... UNLESS... we as the owners of what seems to be a rather scarce piece of history were to pool our resources together in a reasonable attempt at some kind of orginization. I believe we would all benefit from this as nothing else seems to be out there. I talked with the only other owner of a Devere that I'm aware of and he liked the idea, said to count him in. I would like to get this rolling and as a starting point, would like to gather from owners or past owner/operators concerning Devere, everything I could but not limited to, names, email addresses, location, interesting stories about, links, and any info related to the mowers and/or Company. I could then orginize this into some kind of format and send free copies to all that participated in such a project. I think we would all benefit from such and really wouldn't involve any more than sending an email with what you can share with the rest of us. Thanks in advance, ~Marty~

I have a devere locke. It is in great shape! It has reverse and a 10hp Kohler motor with electric start. The mower deck needs work but still all there. I have photos. Please contact me with any info you can. Thanks, Dan

I am trying to identify a Gravely looking tractor that according to the spec# on the Kohler tag may be a Devere-Locke. I can send you photos and would like to see photos of yours.

I have a devere model 38 and know nothing about it. It runs well and I am not a tractor enthusiast, so if anyone wants to buy it for historical purposes I am all ears.
