I have just aquired a 1981 gravely gmt 9000 tractor with the 27hp continental engine. I am looking for a parts manual and also some information on the rear hitch. it has tabs on each side of the rear axle for pins and the ram raises two upper draw arms. This doesnt appear to be a common cat I 3 point hitch. can anyone tell me what this is or if there is a way to convert it to accept cat I 3 point implements?

I have one like yours and i use cat1 3point hitch attatchments all the time. Sounds to me that you are missing the top link and the two bottom arms one on each side. If you contact the Gravely Co. they should be able to get the manuals you need. A full shop and parts manual from them cost me about 10.00 keep in mind that was back in '82. If you can't get one let me know as Ican copy what info needed for you. The tractor has been a real workhorse for me these past 20 plus years. Good luck with yours. Pete

I also own a GMT 9000. It's a pleasure to mow with this awsom piece of equipment. I really don't understand why they took this product off the market. Worst problem I have is finding ignition parts & carb parts, without paying ungodly high prices. HAVE FUN
