This is my neighbors mower and the hydro works good, but doesnt maintain the proper speed on grades. Speeds up downhill, slows down uphill and pretty sure it shouldnt do that. Any simple solutions without tearing in to it too deep?

I need an electrical wiring diagram for this tractor. The electric clutch will not release when you shut the mower desk off. Does any one have any suggestions on what the problem may be. If I have a wiring diagram I can trace the wires, I beleive it is a bare wire somewhere and I am getting an electrical feedback.

I recently bought a 1872 Cub Cadet-Hydro. I am having trouble with the speed, when I push the speed control lever foward or in reverse the tractor begins to slowly creep then suddenly speeds up. I have made several adjustments nothing seems to help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The slot in the trunnion shaft is worn, or the governor springs in that slot are worn out, or both. They are both external fixes. No need to go inside the hydro.
